Watch out for tractors on roads: OPP

A recent collision which indirectly involved a farm-tractor… has prompted O-P-P to remind the public about “sharing the roads” with farm vehicles.

The most noticeable issues drivers face when it comes to farm-vehicles are speed, size and visibility .
Police say car drivers should be patient while driving slowly behind a tractor… and make sure it is safe to pass before doing so.

Police also say operators of farm machinery on local roads are bound to strict laws and regulations… and those who are unfamiliar with these rules can check the Ministry of Transportation website.
