Walleye World Derby underway

The 2012 Fishing season officially opened at 12:01 this morning… and so did the 2012 Kiwanis Walleye World Fishing Derby on the Bay of Quinte.
Anglers from near and far have descended on the bay to try and “land the big one” that could win them one of a multitude of prizes.
Officials at the Trenton Centennial Park Headquarters says it’s been a busier start to the derby than in previous years.
The Derby attracts up to 5,000 anglers from all over North America.
