Unwanted man arrested in Belleville

Holiday weekends can be a time for visitors in the home… even those who may be unwanted.

Belleville Police were called to a Sinclair Street address just before 9:00 last night… where an unwanted was using cocaine.

When police arrived and tried to arrest the man… he engaged in a physical struggle with police before being subdued.

35 year old Joseph Thorne of Belleville is charged with possession of a controlled substance… resisting arrest and breach of undertaking.

He was released on a promise to appear… and there were no injuries.
