Suspect sought in car theft

Provincial Police are looking for a stolen car and a suspect in Madoc.

Central Hastings OPP say a gold 2002 Buick Century was taken from the driveway of a home on Consession road in Madoc last night.

Authorities say the car was left unlocked with the keys and a purse inside.

Anyone who may have noticed anything is asked to call police.

OPP also want to remind you of some simple steps to keep your car safe like locking the doors, rolling up the windows and not leaving valuable objects in view.
