Radio group to apply for licence

The volunteers working to open a community radio station in Prince Edward County are just about finished their formal application process.
Yesterday, Prince Edward County council’s Committee of the Whole gave the group its support to the Prince Edward County Radio Corporation, a non-profit group.
160 people have joined the organization and it’s applying to the CRTC in mid-June to operate a small FM radio station.
