Probation for man after woman assaulted

It was a good news, bad news day for Terry Ferguson in a Belleville court room.

Ferguson was found guilty of one count of assault dating back to an incident in November in Madoc Township.

Central Hastings OPP say a womans spouse showed up at the home throwing items around and allegedly assaulting her.

Ferguson was acquitted of three other assault counts and one count of uttering death threats.

Ferguson will serve 15-months probation.
