The Belleville Police are having an auction.
The auction of unclaimed bicycles and other articles will be held this Thursday at 6:00 in the evening at police headquarters on Dundas St. E.
The auction is authorized by the Police Services Act and is necessary for the detatchment to clear out its cache of items.
Anyone who has yet to claim an item they had stolen is invited to the police station on the morning of the sale between nine and 11:45 am.
Items to be auctioned include 90 assorted bicycles as well as tools, electronic devices and jewelry.

BPS needs to update their website. This isn’t listed in their events calendar.
“All upcoming auction dates and times will be published the local new papers as well as on the Belleville Police Service web site.” – http://www.police.belleville.on.ca/policeauctionsp293.php
