Picking up, but not hectic in Brighton

The pace of construction picked up last month in Brighton, but it’s still well behind last year at this time.

Last month, there was just over $2 million worth of building permits approved in Brighton, including 6 houses.

So far this year, almost $5.9 million worth of permits have been issued.

But, for the same period last year, the total was $8.4 million.

Several more houses were approved for construction last year.
