Important meetings are scheduled this week that could make or break the Norampac paper mill in Trenton.
Representatives from parent company Cascades, and from the Communications, Energy, and Paperworkers Union will meet on Thursday.
After that meeting, the union will hold it’s own meeting, but it’s not known if another vote will be held on the company’s contract offer.
Cascades has said it will close the Trenton plant, throwing over 100 people out of work, by June 1, if its last contract offer isn’t accepted by the union.
Cascades has continued to maintain it will not be changing its offer.
