Frankford arena roof going green

Solar panels are going up on the roof of the Frankford arena.
Last night, Quinte West council approved an agreement with the company, Real Flex Solar Corporation.
The city will pay around $1.3 million to have the panels installed.
The installation will be paid off in 8 years, and after that, revenue generated from the green energy will go to the City of Quinte West.
Work on the Frankford arena roof will start soon.
