Drugs and weapons in Belleville

Belleville police and the OPP made a fairly big drug bust in downtown Belleville Sunday night.

Police, including a canine unit, raided a location on Front Street, and seized marijuana, hashish, and oxycontin, along with cash, firearms, and ammunition.

56 year old Richard Bellis of Front Street, Belleville, faces charges.

Police seized over 5 pounds of marijuana, along with around 100 thousand dollars cash, and shotguns and 22 caliber rifles.

    Waiting for someone to chime in again and say it’s for personal use and the cops are wasting the courts time.

    Of course it is for personal use. He suffers from cronic back pain and needs the oxys, it medical hootch, and the he’s probably an avid hunter needs the guns to hunt for food because he lost his job at the post office cause of his bad back!
    Oh yeah and the money is not his his, he was just holding onto it for his mom.
