Belleville has lost a long-time downtown businessman.
Charlie Kammer, for more than 50-years the owner of Kammer Musical Supplies, has died.
During his time as a downtown merchant, Kammer influenced many aspiring local musicians.
Kammer Musical offered lessons in guitar, accordion, banjo, violin and had a repair service for most instruments.
Charlie Kammer was also on board with the rock era, selling bigger and louder Amplifiers in the late ’70s and ’80s.
He was 81 years old.
