Defense rests at Hughes’ trial

There are no more witnesses to be called at the Myles Hughes murder trial.

A Sun Media report says three witnesses were called by the defense yesterday in an effort to show Hughes shot Roy Mays Junior in self defense.

The crown meantime tried to call into question the validity of witness testimony.

Next week the judge will hear final submissions and jury deliberations will begin after that.
