Commuter Challenge comes to Quinte

Five members of the Hastings and Prince Edward Board of Health took up the “commuter challenge” on their way to a meeting today, walking part way or carpooling.

It was in support of the 2012 Commuter Challenge coming to the Quinte region in June. Spokesperson Tanya Hill says the idea is to show people that there are more “active ways” of getting around than just the car, including walking to work, or part-way to work.
