Centre Hastings to pass budget

It appears Centre Hastings council will pass its 2012 budget tonight.

Staff will present a budget 3.15%higher than last years, totalling over $2.9 million.

When revenues and increased assessment are taken into account, the average homeowner would see an increase of $35/yr or 1.9%.

Centre Hastings council meets this evening at 6:00 at the municipal office in Madoc.
