BGH parking at issue

For the second time Belleville City Council will be asked to approve a three-year parking arrangement for Belleville General Hospital.

The city is being asked to extend the “temporary use” to allow permit parking of Quinte Health Care employees at 111 Bay Dr.

Councillor Jack Miller told the Planning Committee last night that since construction at BGH is exected to be completed in three years, he would support it.

Councillor Jackie Denyes noted there was “still no parking garage in sight for the hospital.”
