Woman charged for making threats

Police were called to a Prince Edward County residence to investigate an incident on the weekend in which someone had allegedly threatened to burn down a garage.

Police say a man and woman had been arguing and the man had gone to the garage to avoid further conflict.

He alleges he heard the woman threaten to burn the garage.

Later police located a can of gas near the building. The unidentified woman was charged with uttering threats to damage property.
