Trenton marathon raises hospital funds

It was a beautiful day for a run yesterday, and for raising money for a good cause.

It was the third annual Healthy Half Marathon event on behalf of the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation.

Close to 200 runners and walkers participated in the Trenton run.

Executive Director of the Trenton Hospital Foundation, Wendy Warner, says the money raised will buy surgical equipment to treat ACL injuries.

The final tally isn’t in yet, but it’s expected that more then last year’s total of $15,000 will be raised.
