Trash Bash coming Saturday

Saturday’s the day Quinte residents are being asked to “Pick it up, Put it away, and Keep it that way.”

Belleville, Quinte West and Tyendinaga Township have combined forces this year in cleaning up the communities.

The idea is to have residents volunteer to pick up the litter on streets and in the ditches. Trash can be dropped at designated dumpsters in their communities.

The events begin at 8:00 Saturday morning and wrap up at 12:00 with Quinte West and Tyendinaga running free barbeques for volunteers at the noon hour.
