TMH outbreak nearly over

An outbreak at Trenton Memorial Hospital is nearly over.

Quinte Healthcare spokesperson, Susan Rowe, says they’ve had two tests come back negative for the MRSA strain.

Rowe says they need a third negative test result before calling an end to the outbreak.

The patients who have tested posative actually are not infected, so show no symptoms.

The outbreak has not affected visits to the Trenton hospital.
