Seatbelt infractions

Quinte West OPP have laid dozens of charges during the spring seatbelt campaign which wrapped up over the weekend.

Officials say 55-drivers were ticketed for not belting up.

Officers also laid 16-charges for talking on a cell phone.

They say people need to get the message and understand the dangers of using the phone behind the wheel.

134-people have been charged in Quinte West since the start of 20-12.
