Run for medical equipment

This Sunday you can take a run through Quinte West and contribute to Trenton Memorial Hospital at the same time.

The third annual Quinte West “Healthy Half-Marathon” is a fundraiser for T-M-H. And once again this year organizers hope to raise money toward buying equipment.

Spokesperson Wendy Warner says it will go toward the $62,000 A-C-L instrument that is used for treating major knee ligament injuries.

Warner says these are often injuries related to high-impact sports such as football or basketball.
