The former member of provincial parliament for Northumberland Quinte West has thrown his hat into the ring.

Yesterday, Lou Rinaldi told the local provincial liberal riding association that he would ask them to support his bid to be the candidate again in the next provincial election.

Rinaldi, who served 2 terms as an MPP, received a standing ovation from the crowd.

Rinaldi said he wasn’t sure if he would run again until he heard that current MPP Rob Milligan wasn’t supporting the 20 million dollar Eastern Ontario Development Fund.

Hence why I didn’t vote for Rob Milligan and wanted Lou to stay! I know Milligan’s family and well they weren’t the smartest when it came to politics and they had their “own” opinion’s and nothing else mattered! Rob doesn’t put his thoughts and consideration into what people think, he just does what HE wants and what is best for HIM and his family and it doesn’t matter about the community! Hmmmmm can we say the community was lied to?? Lou actually took people’s thoughts and opinions and made every effort to make or work towards things that were right! I want Lou back……..never wanted him to leave!
