Rail Safety Week launched

Don’t be suprised if you’re stopped at railway crossings this week.
Today is the start of the annual Rail Safety Week.
CN Police will be marking the occasion by having officers at rail crossings and at the VIA rail station warning people about the dangers of trespassing on the tracks.
Last year, 70 people were killed and 42 were injured in accidents at railway crossings.
