Mayor Ellis addresses Chamber

The Belleville and District Chamber of Commerce hosted their annual Mayor’s Breakfast yesterday at the Travelodge Hotel.

The packed room heard Neil Ellis going over the financial, operational and capital standing for the municipality.

Infrastructure was the major topic with watermain, roadway and industrial development taking the majority of the discussion for 20-12-13.

Ellis says the city will also be looking at close to 1.9-million dollars in municipal vehicle repair and replacement.

His Worship says they’re also could be some good news on the job front for the city in the coming months.
