Kingston to join local waste group

A regional waste centre could be in the works to include the municipalities of Belleville, Quinte West, Prince Edward and Kingston .

Quinte West is asking for proposals from the business community for regional waste management solutions.

The city’s director of public works told Quinte West council last night (MON) that expressions of interest are due on Thursday.

Staff members were directed last night to contact Kingston to find out how all the municipalities might benefit from a shared resource.
