Day of Pink comes to Quinte

You might notice people wearing a lot of pink today, especially at Trenton High School.

Today is the International Day of Pink.

The day came into being after a male high school student in Nova Scotia was bullied for wearing a pink shirt to school.

The Day of Pink has now spread worldwide.

Locally, Trenton High School is distributing Day of Pink t-shirts, and staff with Hastings Shores Children’s Aid will also be wearing pink.
