A Belleville teenager faces charges after a vehicle crashed into other vehicles, including a police cruiser, early yesterday morning.

The driver of a Neon wouldn’t stop for police after hitting a parked car, and eventually lost control on North Palmer Road, and hit a cruiser twice. The driver then drove off to an apartment building on West Moira street.

The driver fled the vehicle on foot, but police caught up to him within a few minutes.

A 16 year old faces several charges, including flight from police and assault with a weapon, the weapon being his car.

The incident happened around 3:30 yesterday morning.
