Budget talks continue in the County

Prince Edward County councillors spent the bulk of this morning hearing from citizens appealing to keep funding for their respective causes.

The only speaker who failed to win what they were asking for was Monica Alyea who was pushing for support of local arts groups.

All of the new monies added to the budget this morning have to do with arts and culture.

Public budget discussions continue at Shire Hall.
