Belleville roadwork update from Mayor

North Front Street is going to see construction at what the Mayor calls the city’s most dangerous intersection.
North Front Street at Tracey, the site of the North Front Centre will have left turn lanes installed going both ways.
Northbound traffic will have an advanced left going onto Tracey, while southbound will be able to turn into the North Front Centre.
The city was able to purchase land from Benton Fry Ford to widen the road.
Work is expected to begin this summer or fall.
they should consider left turn signals on sidney and bridge as well if u are not on the side of the advanced green it can be very difficult to even get to go when there is heavier traffic.
