The Police Services Board in Stirling can get back to normal at its next meeting.
The mayor and deputy mayor – who were excused for an investigation into misconduct – have been allowed back following the conclusion of the investigation by the Ontario Civilian Police Commission.
Deputy mayor William Shier says he’s happy to return to his post on the board. Shier says he believes the composition of the board will now be himself, the mayor and a third person.
The police chief and the mayor have been unavailable for comment.
