The growing backlash to the robocall scandal has come to Quinte.
The Prince Edward Hastings Federal Liberal Association is organizing a protest, called a “rally for our rights” for late tomorrow afternoon.
In a press release, the Association is asking local conservative MP Daryl Kramp to demand a full judicial inquiry into the situation.
The “Rally for Our Rights” begins at 5 o clock tomorrow afternoon in the market square in downtown Belleville.

Spare me the self righteous indignation O lily-white Liberals! I say “caveat emptor”. It is the responsibility of the voter to know where they must vote, and Elections Canada provides each voter with that info. If there’s a change, They will tell you. They are the authority and will not delegate such responsibility to any political party. Taking the word of ANY political party-let alone one you will not be voting for- that locations have been changed is plain stupid. If there is one adjective that does not apply to political parties, it would be “Altruistic”. Politics is a take-no-prisoners bloodsport, and it is our resposnibility as voters to understand this.
Memo to anyone asking for my vote. I am not interested in your focus-group generated talking points. If you insult my intelligence with a robocall of any kind, I will hang up immediately and you have just guaranteed that I will NOT vote for you, even if i may have been inclined to vote for you at one time.
If enough people would join me with that, Robocalls would stop tomorrow.
