Assault in Belleville

A tip to police led them to arrest an impaired out-of-towner overnight.

Belleville Police were told about a possible impaired driver pulling into a North Front Street drive-thru.

Officers responded and stopped a 27-year old driver.

The Ajax man was charged with having over 80 milligrams of alcohol in his blood and was later released on a promise to appear.
