Sewage headaches in Tweed

The study into Tweeds sewage treatment issue continues into 2012.

Reeve Joanne Albert says there is an ongoing problem with the system. She says water has been infiltrating the system which means Tweed is “treating” clear water along with the sewage.

Albert says the long-range plan is to determine whether Tweed needs another sewage treatment lagoon, or a sewage treatment plant.
