It’ll be a different bedtime tonight for some Belleville councillors, staff, radio announcers, and others tonight.
Councillors Garnet Thompson, Egerton Boyce, and Pat Culhane are taking part in the Sleep Out!! So Others Can Sleep In.
They’ll be sleeping out of doors in the Market Square downtown tonight.
Police Chief Cory McMullan is joining them as are Quinte Broadcasting announcers Scotty Lalonde and Max Major.
The event raises money for Canadian Mental Health Association’s homeless shelters.
The temperature will get down to minus 5 tonight, which isn’t bad for a January night.
