Domestic in Belleville’s east end

He tried, but he couldn’t get away. Belleville Police responded to a domestic incident before 11 last night in the city’s east end.

A woman complained that an ex boyfriend had assaulted her.

A man ran away when police arrived, but was discovered at a home on Russell Street.

He was found trying to escape out of a rear window.
