Cramahe Township council will look at a by law to stop heavy security apparatus on properties in the community.
The Cramahe Police Board has recommended the so called “fortification” by law be passed into law by council.
The by law would stop properties from having extreme security like huge fences, gates, and super thick walls.
There’s concern that criminal gangs could move in to the area and build fortresses on properties to protect themselves from other gangs, and the law.
Cramahe council meets February 14th in Colborne.

Seriously, so normal law abiding citizens won’t be allowed to have tall fences or gates? there are so many other signs of gang activity, yet an over sized/ thick fence scares this guy that much? Privacy is important to many people, and so is security. If this by law passes, what will it mean for homeowners that already have tall, secure fences and gates? Or the tall, wrought iron topped brick walls bordering their entire property line? Will these people have to submit to searches? Will they need to be torn down?
