Rick Hansen arrives in Belleville today

The Quinte Area is geared up for the return of the Man in Motion.

The 25th anniversary of paralympian Rick Hansen’s 20-thousand mile journey around the world to raise awareness of spinal cord injuries is being celebrated with a cross-Canada tour from Newfoundland to Vancouver. He will arrive in Belleville at the Market Square at three o’clock this afternoon, then another ceremony is planned for the Quinte Sports Centre at five o’clock. The relay resumes tomorrow morning at the sports center at 8-50, heading to Quinte Secondary School, and then on to Trenton.
