K-Rock Centre gets industry kudos

Kingston and Quinte area concert-goers have helped the K-Rock Centre rank among the top of its class.

Industry magazine, “Venues Today”, ranks the Kingston venue as the highest grossing venue in Canada with less than ten-thousand seats.

K-Rock’s general manager says the last year and a half have been tough economic times and very slow for touring venues.

G-M Ken Noakes says it’s the support of their ticket buyers that’s the true reason for their success.
