Picton Doctor named to Order of Canada

A member of the Prince Edward Family Health Team has been named to the Order of Canada.
Doctor Robert McMurtry was named a member to the order in the field of health care by Governor General David Johnston today, one of 50 people appointed to the Order. McMurtry was nominatd for his leadership and vision in helping to strengthen health care delivery in Canada.
Ya see! It’s doctors and people who actually contribute to society who deserve an Order of Canada honor.
