Visits to Millhaven resume on Saturday

A partial lockdown is in effect at Millhaven Institution, near Bath, where a prisoner died on March 20th.

Twenty-nine-year-old Jordan Trudeau was killed in the prison’s gymnasium during a disturbance among inmates. Two other prisoners were taken to hospital for treatment of serious injuries, but have been returned to Millhaven. Assistant Warden Vicki Willis says the lockdown imposed on the 20th was modified this week, and regular routines are returning. However, visits, which have been suspended since the lockdown began, won’t resume until Saturday.
