There’s no such thing as a minor fire and what started out as some lint burning inside a home’s dryer turned out be much more than that last night (Sunday) in Trenton.
Quinte West firefighters responded just after 10 o’clock to 6 Westmount Court in Trenton’s west end after reports of a dryer fire.
By the time they arrived, flames had made their way up a wall and were spreading into a part of the house.
Firefighters had the fire out in about an hour but Chief John Whalen says about $150,000 damage was caused.
No one was injured.
