Shire Hall elevator operation still delayed

There is another delay in the new elevator beginning service at Shire Hall in Picton.

The elevator was supposed to be ready this past Monday, but final inspections and other approvals have delayed that until September tenth. The lack of service will disrupt some customer services offered by Prince Edward County, and will force meetings normally held at Shire Hall to be moved to other locations.
