The drama surrounding the demolition of the old brick church on Picton’s main street continues this afternoon.
At one point traffic was diverted to allow the bell tower and the structure to be brought down. But the pile of debris is so high the roof is just sitting there on top of it. Both the Ministry of Labour and the Prince Edward County officials have been on the scene to ensure public safety as Jim Sinclair’s company, Be Green Recycling, undertakes the demolition. Work was halted last month because of various stop-work orders.

Would like to know where all the debris and material will be going for disposal….Will it be going to BGR site 621 Dundas St E Belleville…(AKA) old Bakelite property???
