More nurse practitioner clinics to come

Now is the time to act for anyone in the Quinte area who wants to set up another Nurse Practitioner-led clinic.

One of the clinics has already been approved for Belleville, and it hopes to start operating in August. The provincial government has issued a call for 14 more applications, and it closes on June 25th, with successful bidders to be named this summer.. There are now eleven Nurse Practitioner-led clinics in various stages of implementation across Ontario, including the one in Belleville.
