Getting Ready for Relay for Life

Organizers are gearing up for the biggest fundraiser for Cancer research here in the Quinte Area. The sponsors of the Belleville Relay for Life event were thanked yesterday. The Event’s main sponsor is Scotiabank. Chair of this year’s 10th annual Relay for Life is Karen White. She says they have 60 teams entered now, but the goal is 130. Relay teams are welcome to register anytime right up to the event. The fund raising goal in Belleville is 336 thousand dollars. The event starts June 25th at Loyalist College. Contact the Canadian Cancer Society to register a team.
