Belleville resident wins financial fitness prize

A Belleville resident is the national grand prize winner in the Canadian Securities Administrators annual “Financial Fitness Challenge.”

More than 17-thousand Canadian youth were involved in the two-month competition, which tested their knowledge of personal finance concepts, including saving and investing at the Challenge Website..

Patricia Lee-Kim took home the national grand prize of two-thousand dollars. Thirteen other provincial and territorial winners also demonstrated their financial savvy by participating in the Challenge, and were awarded a notebook computer.
