It sounds like the Liberals are ready to work hard to win Northumberland-Quinte West in the next federal election.
National Liberal Party President Alfred Apps told the riding association’s executive meeting in Colborne last night the party will be targeting the riding, and Leader Michael Ignatieff will do his part.
One of two nominees to be the candidate, Kim Rudd, says Northumberland-Quinte West, which was held by Liberal Paul Macklin for six years until he lost in the 2006 election, is winnable for her party.
